Abstract:Coronary artery spasm is secondary to almost complete or complete occlusion of blood vessels after constriction. This process can cause ischemia, leading to typical variant angina pectoris, atypical angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, sudden death, various types of arrhythmia, heart failure and so on.It is fatal if not detected and treated in time.Among them, cardiac arrest caused by coronary artery spasm is rare. This article reports the clinical data of a case of cardiac arrest caused by severe coronary artery spasm successfully rescued by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation,in order to improve the vigilance of clinicians for cardiac arrest caused by coronary artery spasm, and to provide a reference for the treatment of cardiac arrest by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
