Abstract:Tumor-associated macrophages are an important part of the tumor microenvironment. The mononuclear macrophage system has plasticity.Under different inducing conditions and stimulating factors,tumor-associated macrophages can be polarized into Ml-type and M2-type macrophages.M2-type macrophages play an important role in the occurrence and development of tumors.Macrophages can fight against tumor therapy by regulating the activation of tumor cells, promote angiogenesis, inhibiting the proliferation of autologous T cells and the production of interferon-y,so that T cells lose their anti-tumor activity, and promote tumor cell metastasis by releasing cytokines.Targeted therapy of tumor-associated macrophage, mainly through inhibiting the recruitment of macrophages, inhibiting the survival of tumor macrophages, modulating the polarization of macrophages, and modulating the macrophages in the tumor microenvironment, thus affecting the survival and metastasis of the tumor.
