Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) in peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC) and the effect on T-bet expression in children with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) bronchiolitis. Methods From August 2017 to April 2018,30 children with RSV bronchiolitis admitted to Binzhou Medical University Hospital were divided into mild group (16 cases) and medium-severe group (14 cases);20 health children were recruited as normal control group.Expression levels of ANP and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) in plasma, natriuretic peptide receptor A(NPRA) and T-bet in PBMC were analyzed. Results Compared with the normal control group, plasma ANP,NPRA mRNA and protein expression levels in PBMC increased with the severity of bronchiolitis [mild group:(612 ± 27) ng/L,(1.41 ± 0.17),(0.669 ± 0.035);medium-severe group:(1 041 ±38)ng/L,(2.58 ±0.28),(1.537 ±0.022)];plasma IFN-γ,T-bet mRNA and protein expression levels in PBMC showed a downtrend among groups [mild group:(12.8 ± 0.9)ng/L,(0.39 ± 0.08),(0.55 ± 0.11);medium-severe group:(6.6 ± 0.4) ng/L,(0.22 ± 0.05),(0.31 ± 0.05)];there were statistically significant differences among groups(all P < 0.05).Conclusion ANP signaling pathway may be involved in the pathogenesis of bronchiolitis by down-regulating the expression of T-bet.
