Effect of clopidogrel bisulfate combined with rosuvastatin on growth differentiation factor-15 and inflammatory factors in elderly patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of clopidogrel bisulfate combined with rosuvastatin on growth differentiation factor-15(GDF-15) and inflammatory factors in elderly patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CHD).Methods Totally 200 elderly CHD patients admitted to the No.2 Hospital of Baoding,Hebei Province from August 2017 to August 2018 were enrolled.The patients were divided into control group(90 cases) treated by clopidogrel bisulfate and observation group(110 cases) treated by clopidogrel bisulfate plus rosuvastatin.Improvement of cardiac function and changes of serum GDF-15 and inflammatory factors were analyzed.Results Left ventricular ejection fraction increased after treatment and it was significantly higher in observation group than that in control group[(70 ± 10)％ vs (60 ± 10)％] (P ＜0.05).Wall motion score index decreased after treatment and it was significantly lower in observation group than that in control group [(1.05 ± 0.30) vs (1.32 ± 0.36)] (P ＜0.05).After treatment,serum levels of fibrinogen,GDF-15,high-sensitive C-reactive protein,interleukin-2,interleukin-6 and interleukin-10 significantly decreased and the levels in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Clopidogrel bisulfate combined with rosuvastatin can effectively improve the cardiac function of elderly patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and significantly reduce levels of serum GDF-15 and inflammatory factors.
