Effect of edaravone combined with soft channel drainage on cerebrovascular function and serum inflammatory factors in patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of edaravone combined with soft channel drainage on cerebrovascular function and serum inflammatory factors in patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.Methods Totally 200 patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were enrolled from December 2016 to December 2017 in Handan First Hospital.The patients were divided into observation group and control group,with 100 cases in each group.The control group was treated with soft channel drainage;the observation group was treated with edaravone combined with soft channel drainage.Clinical efficacy,cerebrovascular function indexes,serum inflammatory factors and adverse drug reactions were analyzed.Results Total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group [84.0％ (84/100) vs 67.0％ (67/100)] (P =0.003).After treatment,cerebral vascular flow rate and flow volume significantly increased in both groups;cerebral vascular flow rate and flow volume in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group [(20.3 ± 1.9) cm/s vs (17.7 ± 1.6) cm/s,(17.7 ± 3.7) ml/s vs (15.7 ± 1.6) ml/s] (all P ＜0.05).Peripheral resistance and dynamic resistance of cerebral vessels significantly reduced after treatment and these values in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group[(1 357 ± 199)kPa/m vs (1 542 ± 147) kPa/m,(318 ± 31) kPa/m vs (357 ± 22) kPa/m] (all P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,levels of serum interleukin-6,tumor necrosis factore and C-reactive protein significantly decreased in both groups;the levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).No adverse drug reaction was observed.Conclusions Edaravone combined with soft channel drainage is effective in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.Improvements of cerebral vascular function and serum inflammatory factors are significant and there is no severe adverse reaction.
