Abstract:Objective To analyze the relation between infarct-related artery(IRA) and door-to-balloon (D-to-B) time in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).Methods A total of 179 STEMI patients were successively enrolled from May to October 2015 in Beijing Anzhen Hospital,Capital Medical University. All patients had coronary angiography in 12 h after the onset of infarction.General information, medical histories,D-to-B time and IRA were recorded. The patients were divided into 3 groups according to the location of IRA:left anterior descending artery (LAD) group (n =74),left circumflex artery (LCX) group (n =25) and right coronary artery (RCA) group (n =80).The relation between IRA and D-to-B time was analyzed. Results Sex ratio, risk factors and medical histories showed no significant differences among groups(P > 0.05).D-to-B time in LCX group was significantly longer than that in LAD group and RCA group[(86 ± 18) min vs (74 ±16),(67 ± 12) min] (P < 0.05).Conclusion The location of IRA is related to D-to-B time;LCX infarction is an independent predictor of longer D-to-B time.
