Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of moxibustion therapy on platelet aggregation in coronary atherosclerotic heart disease patients with clopidogrel resistance. Methods Totally 64 cases of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease with clopidogrel resistance were enrolled in Beijing Geriatric Hospital from November 2014 to March 2016.The patients were randomly divided into the moxibustion group and control group, with 32 cases in each group. The control group had basic treatment;the moxibustion group had moxibustion treatment (acupoints:Neiguan,Danzhong,Zhong wan,Xinshu,Znsanli,15-30 min/time,1 time/d);both groups were treated for 4 weeks.Platelet aggregation induced by adenosine diphosphate were tested 1,3,6 months after treatment.Incidences of skin damage and adverse cardiovascular events were recorded. Results Platelet inhibition rates at 1,3 months after treatment in moxibustion group were significantly higher than those in control group[46.7%(14/30) vs 12.5% (4/32),40.0% (12/30) vs 9.4% (3/32)] (P<0.05).In moxibustion group,2 patients stopped the treatment due to platelet inhibition rate < 10% and 4 patients had mild skin burns. The control group had no adverse cardiovascular event. Conclusion Moxibustion therapy has good effect on coronary atherosclerotic heart disease with clopidogrel resistance;the adverse reactions are tolerated.
