Clinical effect of Tanreqing injection in combination with cefazolin sodium pentahydrate on bronchopneumonia in children

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Tanreqing injection in combination with cefazolin sodium pentahydrate on bronchopneumonia in children.Methods Totally 150 chlidren with bronchopneumonia from May 2015 to July 2016 in Gansu Provincial Hospital were randomly divided into Tanreqing injection group,cefazolin sodium pentahydrate group and combined treatment group,with 50 cases in each group.All children had relieving cough and asthma therapy;Tanreqing group had Tanreqing injection;cefazolin sodium pentahydrate group had cefazolin sodium pentahydrate;combined treatment group had both treatments.Clinical efficacy,symptoms (fever,cough,moist rale) disappearance time,length of hospital stay and adverse drug reactions were analyzed.Results The total effective rate in combined treatment group was significantly higher than that in Tanreqing group and cefazolin sodium pentahydrate group [92.0％ (46/50) vs 84.0％ (42/50),84.0％ (42/50)] (P ＜ 0.01).The disappearance time of fever,cough,moist rale and the length of hospital stay in combined treatment group were significantly shorter than those in Tanreqing group and cefazolin sodium pentahydrategroup[(4.6±1.7)dvs (5.5±1.3),(5.5±1.3)d;(6.1 ±1.4)dvs (7.2±1.7),(7.2±1.7)d;(5.0±1.5)d vs (5.9±1.5),(5.6 ±1.2)d;(9.2 ±2.8)d vs (10.8 ±2.8),(11.0 ±2.9)d](P＜0.01or P ＜ 0.05).The disappearance time of fever,cough,moist rale and the length of hospital stay had no significant differences between Tanreqing group and cefazolin sodium pentahydrate group(P ＞ 0.05).The incidences of adverse drug reactions had no significant differences among 3 groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Tanreqing injection combined with cefazolin sodium pentahydrate treating children with bronchopneumonia has better clinical effect than single medication.
