Clinical effect of Yupingfeng oral liquid combined with montelukast sodium chewable tablets in treating stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract：Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Yupingfeng oral liquid combined with montelukast sodium chewable tablets in treating stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods Totally 120 patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease from November 2014 to November 2015 in Luqiao Hospital of Taizhou Enze Medical Center were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with theophylline sustained-release tablets.The observation group was treated with theophylline sustained-release tablets,Yupingfeng oral liquid and montelukast sodium chewable tablets.After 2 months of treatment,lung function indexes [forced vital capacity (FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),FEV1/FVC] and blood gas indexes[pH value,arterial partial pressure of oxygen (PO2),arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PCO2)] were analyzed.The therapeutic effect was evaluated.Results FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,pH,PO2 and PCO2 in observation group were significantly better than those in control group after treatment[(2.3 ± 0.8) L vs (2.0 ± 0.7) L,(1.6 ± 0.5) L vs (1.4 ± 0.5) L,(71 ± 5) ％ vs (67±4)％,(7.41 ±0.05) vs (7.40±0.04),(81±5)mmHg vs (79±5)mmHg,(38.7±2.7)mmHg vs (40.4±2.5)mmHg] (P ＜0.05 or P ＜0.01).The effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group [95.0％ (57/60) vs 80.0％ (48/60)] (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Yupingfeng oral liquid combined with montelukast sodium chewable tablets treating stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is effective.
