Observation of oral Changyu decocotion combined with Kangfuxin enema on ulcerative colitis

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of oral Changyu decocotion combined with Kangfuxin enema in the treatment of ulcerative colitis.Methods Totally 70 patients with ulcerative colitis from April 2012 to April 2015 in Anorectal Branch Hospital,Futian People's Hospital of Shenzhen were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was given salazosulfapyridine combined with oral sanhuang decocotion(huangqin,huangbo,huanglian) and retention enema.The observation group was treated with Changyu decocotion (huangqi,baishu,diyu,puhuangtan,xianhecao,houpu,huanglian,dangshen,baiji,huaihua,hongteng,muxiang,sanqi,gancao)and Kangfuxin enema.After 4 weeks of treatment,the effective rate and immunoglobulin (Ig) M,IgG,IgA in 2 groups were analyzed.Results After treatment,the effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group [97.1％ (34/35) vs 65.7％ (23/35),x2 =11.924,P ＜ 0.05].After treatment,levels of IgM and IgG in observation group were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the level of IgG in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group [IgM:(1.3 ± 0.6) g/L vs (2,3 ± 1.1) g/L;IgG:(12.6 ±3.2)g/L vs(20.6±2.4),(16.42.6)g/L,P＜0.05].Conclusion Oral Changyu decocotion combined with Kangfuxin enema is effective in the treatment of ulcerative colitis.
