Effect of serf-efficacy intervention on life quality of patients with chronic heart failure

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of self-efficacy intervention on the life quality of patients with chronic heart failure.Methods Totally 200 patients with chronic heart failure from September 2014 to April 2015 were randomly divided into control group and observation group (100 cases in each group).Patients in control group were given routine nursing care,on this basis,observation group was given self-efficacy intervention for 6 months.The general information questionnaire,health survey scale and nursing satisfaction scale was used to assess the self-efficacy,quality of life and nursing satisfaction.Above scores were compared between groups before and 6 months after intervention.Results Before intervention,the scores of self-efficacy and life quality were not significantly different between groups (P ＞ 0.05).Six months after intervention,the scores of self-efficacy,life quality and nursing satisfaction in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group[(26 ±4) scores vs (25 ± 6) scores,(55 ± 19) scores vs (46 ± 23) scores,99.0％ (99/100) vs 89.0％ (89/100)](all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Self efficacy intervention can enhance the self-efficacy,improve the life quality and nursing satisfaction in patients with chronic heart failure.
