Abstract:Objective To study the correlation between peripheral blood biochemical markers and aortic dissection. Methods Totally 46 patients with aortic dissection diagnosed by imaging (aortic dissection group) and 46 hypertension patients (hypertension group) from 2011 to 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. The platelet count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, uric acid,D-dimer,fibrous protein, total cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, lipoprotein a,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP),aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, serum creatinine, troponin Ⅰ,homocysteine (Hcy) after hospitalization were compared between the two groups. The correlation between peripheral blood biochemical markers and aortic dissection were analyzed. Results The levels of uric acid,D-dimer,lipoprotein a,hs-CRP,serum creatinine,Hcy in aortic dissection group were all significantly higher than those in hypertension group [(380 ±142) mmol/L vs (266±111) mmol/L,512.5 (317.3,759.5) mg/L vs 196.5 (118.5,259.0) mg/L,(280± 116) mg/L vs (202±125) mg/L,10.6 (9.3,38.6) mg/L vs9.3 (5.5,14.2) mg/L,(89±17) μ mol/L vs (81 ± 19) μmol/L,(16 ± 12) μmol/L vs (12 ± 3) μmol/L] (all P < 0.05);the other indexes were not significantly different between groups (P > 0.05).Multivariate unconditional Logistic regression indicated that the risk factors of aortic dissection included uric acid (OR =1.009,95% CI:1.003-1.015),hs-CRP (OR =1.077,95% CI:1.013-1.146)andHcy(OR=1.265,95%CI:1.071-1.493) (P<0.05).Conclusion Uric acid,hs-CRP and Hcy are correlated with aortic dissection.
