Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of rosuvastatin on the level of lipids and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) in patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP).Methods Totally 98 UAP patients were divided into observation group and control group. The control group received routine treatment and the observation group received both the conventional treatment and rosuvastatin treatment. The levels of total cholesterol, three acylglycerin, low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),hs-CRP in serum were detected by double antibody immune turbidimetric method; the levels of serum plasma amino-terminal b-type natriuretic peptide precursor (NT-proBNP) and homocysteine (Hcy) were detected by ELISA kit. After treatment of 13 weeks, three acyl glycerin, serum total cholesterol,LDL,HDL-C,hs-CRP,Hcy and NT-proBNP between two groups were observed. Results After treatment of 13 weeks, the effectiveness of control group was lower than that of observation group [79.6% (39/49) vs 93.9% (46/49)] ; the difference was statistically significant (x2 =4.125,P < 0.05).After treatment 13 of weeks, three acyl glycerin, serum total cholesterol and LDL-C in the observation group were significantly lower than these in the control group [(4.01 ±0.26),(2.04 ±0.37),(2.28 ±0.43) mmol/L vs (5.89 ± 0.31),(2.31 ± 0.42),(3.21 ± 0.36) mmol/L].The concentration of HDL-C was significantly higher than that of the control group [(1.89 ± 0.25) mmol/L vs (1.35 ± 0.18) mmol/L] ; differences were statistically significant (all P <0.05).After treatment of 13 weeks,CRP,Hcy and NT-proBNP in observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group [(2.5 ± 0.7) mg/L,(11.5 ± 3.7) mmol/L,(99 ± 21) mg/L vs (4.0 ± 0.8) mg/L,(13.6 ± 2.7) mmol/L,(321 ± 53) mg/L] ; differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05).Conclusions Rosuvastatin can decrease the level of lipid and hs-CRP in UAP patients.
