Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of drug combination for chemotherapy in high resistance breast cancer. Methods Totally 140 patients with advanced high resistance breast cancer were equally divided into study group and control group, with 70 patients in each group. All patients were given the conventional chemotherapy NP program(Vinorelbine + cisplatin)and the control group had tamoxifen (10mg/d,2times/d),and the study group had extra toremifene(30 mg/d,1 times/d) oral treatment.Efficacy, quality of life, mortality and average survival time were observed. Results After treatment, the complete remission in the study group were 35 cases, partial remission were 15 cases; the efficiency was 71.4%.The efficiency was 50.0% in the control group; the study group had significantly higher efficiency (x2 =4.092,P < 0.05).After treatment, the quality of life scores in the two groups were higher than before treatment [Thestudy group were (90 ± 6) points vs (76 ± 5) minutes,t =15.978,P<0.05; the control group were (84 ±5) points vs (75 ±4) points,t =8.772,P<0.05].The quality of life scores of the study group after treatment were significantly higher (t =7.093,P < 0.05).The mortality difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P > 0.05) ; the mean survival time of the study group was significantly higher [(42 ± 5) months vs (37 ± 5) months,t =5.091,P < 0.05].Conclusion Endocrine drug combination with chemotherapy in the treatment of high resistance breast cancer can promote short term efficacy and improve the survival of patients.
