Abstract:Objective To study the efficacy and safety of Xiyanping adjunctive Azithromycin therapy in the treatment of children mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods Totally 126 cases of children diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumonia were selected. All patients were randomly divided into the control group and observation group, with 63 patients in each groups. Both groups were treated with azithromycin and symptomatic treatment.Observation group received injections Xiyanping azithromycin treatment. Results The treatment group was significantly lower than the control group regarding the thermal time (2.0 ± 1.1) d,cough disappeared time (3.1 ± 1.0) d,pulmonary rales disappeared time (6 ± 3) d,hospital stay time (11 ± 3) d.The total efficiency in observation group (95.2%,60/63) was significantly higher than in the control group (76.2%,48/63) (P < 0.05) ; adverse reac-tions in observed group (9.5%,6/63)were significantly lower than those in the control group(23.8%,15/63) (P < O.05).Conclusion Xiyanping injection assisted therapy treating children azithromycin mycoplasma pneumonia can rapidly improve the efficacy and safety of Azithromycin therapy.
