Abstract:Objective To explore the diagnostic value of spiral CT virtual endoscopy ( CTVE) in patients with primary tumors of small intestines .Methods Clinical data of 37 patients with primary tumors of the small in-testines , from January 2011 to December 2013 , were analyzed .All patients underwent CTVE examination .The di-agnostic results were compared with pathological diagnosis .Results Consistency test ( Kappa test ) results showed that the two methods were good consistency (Kappa values ≥0.70).The sensitivity of CTVE in the diagnosis of primary tumors of small intestine was 100.0%(25/25) and specificity was 92.6%(25/27).Conclusions CTVE is a convenient and safe method of examination .CTVE has a high degree of accuracy , providing a broad prospect for the diagnosis of primary tumors of small intestines .
