Effects of Tianzhi granule on patients with mild cognitive impairment caused by ischemic small vessel disease

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effect of Tianzhi particles on patients with mild cognitive impairment caused by ischemic small vessel disease.Methods Totally 100 cases caused by ischemic small vessel disease were randomly divided into 2 groups:observation group(50 cases) and control group (50 cases).The observation group was given Tianzhi particles for 12 weeks and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale was used.Results Compared with the observation group before and after treatment and the control group after treatment,the visual space/executive function[(4.1 ±0.2) vs(2.6 ±0.2),(2.7 ±0.3)],attention[(5.1 ± 1.6) vs (4.4 ±1.8),(4.7±1.5)],language[(2.4±0.8) vs (1.8 ±0.5),(1.6±0.3)],abstraction[(1.5 ±0.5) vs (1.4±0.5),(1.2±0.2)],delayed recall[(3.0±0.8) vs (1.1 ±0.5)、(1.1 ±0.3)]and the total score [(23 ±5) vs (19 ±4),(19 ±4)] of there was significantly different(P ＜0.05).Conclusion Tianzhi granule is good for patients with mild cognitive impairment caused by ischemic small vessel disease.
