Effects of esomeprazole combined with mosapride citrate on reflux esophagitis

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical benefit effect of esomeprazole combined with mosapride citrate in the treatment of reflux esophagitis.Methods Eighty-seven cases of reflux esophagitis patients were divided into two groups.Observation group (45 cases)took esomeprazole and mosapride citrate; control group (42 cases) had omeprazole.The two groups were treated for 4 weeks.The total effect of clinical symptoms in two groups and endoscopic findings after the end of treatment were compared.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of clinical symptoms in observation group[93.3% (42/45)] was significantly higher than that in control group[78.6% (33/42)] (P < 0.05); the improved signs of endoscopic total efficiency in obversation group [88.9% (40/45)] was significantly higher than that in the control group(76.2%) (P < 0.05).Conclusion Esomeprazole combined with mosapride citrate has a significant effect on the treatment of reflux esophagitis; they can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with inflammation and promote healing.
