Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Xueshuantong injection in the treatment of frontotemporal lobe cerebral contusion. Methods All 94 patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group; the control group was treated with conventional therapy and the observation group was added the Xueshuantong injection; the observation time was three weeks. The clinical efficacy, neurological deficit and the activities of daily living were assessed. Results After treatment of 14 days, the total effective rate in observation group was higher than that in control group [78.7% (37/47) vs 59.6% (28/47),P < 0.05] ; the scores of neurological deficit in observation group and control group were less than those before treatment [(13 ±6)scores vs (25 ± 6) scores,(16 ± 6) scores vs (24 ± 5) scores, all P < 0.05],and the scores of observation group were lower than those of control group (P < 0.05) ; the scores of Bathel scores in observation group and control group were higher than those before treatment [(73 ± 18)scores vs (34 ± 18)scores,(61 ± 17)scores vs (36 ± 18)scores,all P <0.05],and the scores of observation group were more than those of control group (P < 0.05) ; the volume of hematoma in observation group and control group was less than that before treatment [(1.4 ± 0.9) ml vs (18.1 ±9.2) ml,(2.9 ± 1.4) ml vs (16.9 ± 9.8) ml],and the volume of observation group was less than that of control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Xueshuantong injection in the treatment of cerebral contusion can significantly promote the absorption of hematoma and the recovery of neurological function.
