Clinical analysis of coronary artery ectasia

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the clinical features,imaging features,and treatment in patients with coronary artery ectasia.Methods All 1568 patients in our hospital were done with coronary angiography,the line multi orthostatic projection selective coronary angiography were used and 35 cases of coronary artery ectasia were analyzed.Results 35 cases with coronary artery ectasia involved the 55 coronary predilection sites for the right coronary artery (RCA,24 sticks),the backbone of the left anterior descending artery (LAD,16 sticks),left circumflex artery (LCX,10 sticks),left(LM,5 sticks).Among 35 cases with coronary artery ectasia,30 cases had a history of angina,five cases hospitalized due to acute myocardial infarction,and it was related with the infarct-related artery,3 cases showed atypical chest pain,two cases hospitalized for heart failure,10 cases were treated with percutaneous coronary intervention,symptoms of 30 cases disappeared after treatment or mitigate,three cases were still repeated chest pain,two cases died of heart failure.Conclusion Angina is the main symptoms of coronary artery ectasia,antiplatelet and lipid are the basic treatment for coronary artery ectasia.
