Observation of the effect of Fufangkushen injection combined with vinorelbine and cisplatin for advanced non-small cell lung cancer

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Fufangkushen injection combined with vinorelbine and cisplatin (NP regimen) in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.Methods Totally 132 cases with advanced non-small cell lung cancer from December 2006 to December 2012 were divided into observation group (66 cases) and control group (66 cases) according to the order number of the patient.The control group was taken regular NP chemotherapy.The observation group was given Fufangkushen injection based on the treatment of control group.The near future curative effect,pain remission rate,adverse reactions,life quality and survival of the two groups were observed.Results The treatment effective rate in observation group was 45.4％ (30/66) and the control group was 31.8％ (21/66).Difference was statistically significant between two groups (P＜ 0.05).The pain relief rate of observation group was 51.5％ (34/66) and the control group was 30.3％ (20/66) ; pain relief rate difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The incidence of nausea and vomiting in observation group was 39.4％ (26/66) ; bone marrow inhibition rate was 59.1％ (39/66),which was significantly lower than that in the control group [66.7％ (44/66),90.9％ (60/66)] (P ＜ 0.01).The behavior state period in observation group was 60.6％ (40/66) ; weight change rate was 28.8％ (19/66) ; control group behavior state period rate was 45.4％ (30/66) ;weight change rate was 9.1％ (6/66).The behavior change rate and weight change rate in two groups had statistical difference (P ＜0.05 or P ＜0.01).A total of 48 cases died in observation group; the median surial was 7.3 months; control group had a total of 58 cases of death; the health was 4.8 months.Conclusion The effect of Fufangkushen injection combined with NP regimen in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer is better than effect of NP regimen alone.
