Effect of Xinmailong on QT dispersion and clinical efficacy in patients with ischemic heart failure

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Xinmailong injection on QT dispersion and clinical efficacy in patients with ischemic heart failure.Methods Totally 80 patients with ischemic heart failure in our hospital were selected,and divided into Xinmailong group and control group with 40 cases in each group by random number table.Xinmailong group was given Xinmailong injection based on the conventional heart failure treatment,and control group was given conventional heart failure treatment.The total effective rate of two groups were compared,and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),N terminal brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),QT dispersion (QTd) of two groups before and after treatment were observed and compared.Results The total effective rate of Xinmailong group was 77.5％ (31/40),and 62.5％ (25/40) in control group,there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).LVEF of two groups after treatment [Xinmailong group:(44.3 ± 2.9) ％ ; control group:(40.9 ± 3.1) ％] were higher compared with before treatment (P ＜ 0.05),NT-proBNP of two groups [Xinmailong group:(281± 86) ng/L;control group:(390 ± 93)ng/L] were decreased significantly than before treatment [Xinmailong group:(521 ± 119) ng/L; control group:(509 ± 112) ng/L] (P ＜ 0.05).QTd of Xinmailong group after treatment [(43 ±15)ms] was lower than before treatment [(56 ± 15)ms] (P ＜0.05),but there was no significant difference on QTd in pretherapy and post-treatment [pretherapy:(56 ± 15) ms ; post-treatment:(56 ± 15) ms] (P ＞ 0.05).After treatment,there were significant differences on LVEF,NT-proBNP,QTd between Xinmailong group and control group (P ＜ 0.05).Three cases of Xinmailong group felt dryness of the mouth and nausea after three to five days,and this symptoms alleviated by oneself without any treatment.Conclusions Xinmailong injection can improve myocardial ischemia and reduce the incidence of complex arrhythmias in patients with ischemic heart failure.Moreover,it can increase myocardial contracticity,improve ventricular diastolic function and enhance heart function.
