Effects of Xinqin alevaire on lung function and the quality of life in patients with bronchial asthma

Abstract：Objective To explore the effects of Xinqin alevaire on lung function and quality of life in patients with bronchial asthma.Methods Totally 124 patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into observation group(n =64)and control group(n =60).Two groups were given symptomatic treatment including antiinflammatory,anti-allergic,stop coughing and eliminate sputum.Control group was inhaled becotide spray and observation group was given Xinqin alevalre (30 ml or 15 ml),based on the above-mentioned symp (tomatic treatment.After treatment the clinical efficacy pulmonary function and quality of life imstruments were observed in two groups.Results There were no statistical differences between observation group and control group in the total effective rate.After treatment,the forced expiratory volume in 1 second accounts (FEV1％),percentage expectedmaximum expiratory flow (PEF) and the maximal expiratory flow rate (PEFR) all changed [observation group:FEV1％ (87 ±4)％ vs(70 ±4)％,PEF(350 ±40) L/min vs(316 ±35)L/min,PEFR(13.4 ±2.4)％ vs(18.3 ±3.0)％ ; control group:FEV1％ (86 ±4)％ vs(71 ±4)％,PEF(346 ±37)L/min vs(326 ±37)L/min,PEFR(14.3 ±2.1)％ vs(19.7 ± 2.9) ％] and the quality of life was significantly improved than that before treatment in two groups(P ＜0.05).Condusion Xinqin alevaire can significantly improve lung function and the quality of life in patients with bronchial asthma.
