Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosing acute aortic dissection. Methods Color Dopplerultrasound was performed in 100 patients with acute aortic dissection who underwent surgery. The results of color Doppler ultrasound were analyzed retrospectively. Results The acute aortic dissection were diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasound in 89 patients.Of these 89 patients,34 had De Bakey type Ⅰ,25 had DeBakey type Ⅱ and 30 had DeBakey type Ⅲ.The general diagnostic accuracy rate was 89%.The diagnostic accuracy late of Debakey type Ⅰ,type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ b was 100%,96.2% and 84.0%,much higher than typeⅢa(60%).The difference was statistcally significant(P <0.05).Conclusion Making a definite diagnosis by SCTA and checking the outcome of openation color Doppler ultrasound is a convenient, rapid, and noninvasive method of diagnosing aortic dissection.
