Effect of Shenfu injection on clinical efficacy and inflammatory factors in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy complicated ventricular dysfunction

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of Shenfu injection on clinical manifestations,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and inflammatory factors in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy complicated ventricular dysfunction,and explore its possible clinical therapeutic value.Methods Totally 180 ischemic cardiomyopathy patients complicated with ventricular dysfunction at Anzhen Hospital were enrolled.All the patients were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n =90) and observation group(n =90).Control group was treated with aspirin,nitrates,statin,diuretics and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor.Observation group was intravenously administered with Shenfu injection 50 ml once a day for 15 days.Before treatment and 15 days later,the changes of clinical manifestations and LVEF were investigated.The levesl of blood brain natriuretic peptide (BNP),interleu-kin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) were examined.Results Fifteen days later,the clinical symptoms of two groups were improved markedly.The total effective rates of observation group were higher than those of control group[91.1％ (82/90) vs 80.0％ (72/90)] (P ＜0.05).15 days later,the levels of blood BNP,IL-6 and TNF-α of two groups were deceased [observation group:(332 ± 78) ng/L vs (985 ± 123) ng/L,(73 ± 11) ng/L vs (102 ± 10)ng/L,(2.8 ±0.3) μg/L vs (5.1 ±0.7)μg/L,control group:(554 ±89)ng/L vs (978 ±83)ng/L,(83 ±8)ng/L vs (100 ± 10)ng/L,(4.0 ±0.5)μg/L vs 5.2 ±0.9)μg/L] (all P＜0.01).Compared with control group,the blood level of BNP,IL-6 and TNF-α were lower (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Shenfu injection combined with aspirin,nitrates,statin,diuretics and ACEI can improve clinical manifestation and ventricular function in ischemic cardiomyopathy patients complicated ventricular dysfunction and decrease inflammatory response.
