Effect on infection of hepatitis B and hepatitis C virus in maintenance hemodialysis patients

Abstract：Objective To prevent the cross-infection of hepatitis B and hepatitis C in maintenance hemodialysis patients.Method All 36 patients with maintenance hemodialysis treated from september 2008 to March 2011 were enrolled.The five serdogical markers of hepatitis B and the antibody targets of hepatitis C were tested per 6 months,and all 6 times.Result There was no new hepatitis B and hepatitis C case founded from the 36 cases with maintenance hemodialysis.Conclusion The cross-infection of hepatitis B and C in maintenance hemodialysis patients can be prevented by the infection control measures.
