Report and analysis of 473 adverse reaction cases of vaccine

Abstract：Objective To investigate the adverse reactions of vaccine.Methods The report of 473 adverse reaction cases of vaccine from 2006 to 2009 was provided by the Adverse Reaction (ADR) Center of Shantou City.Some information of the report such as the age,types of ADR,clinical Manifestation as well as vaccine-immune system were analyzed.Results There were 24 kinds of vaccine involved in ADR,and the DPT vaccine contributed to the highest proportion [22.0％ (104/473)].Adverse reaction occurred in all age groups and the 3-5 age group had 275 cases which accounted for a high proportion (58.1％).The general reactions were the main type of ADR,including the damage of many systems/organs.The main clinical manifestation was systemic lesions (31.4％),as well as skin damage(18.4％).Conclusions General reaction is the main type of ADR and most of the patients can recover or be improved.However,attention should be paid to the safe vaccination and the surveillance of ADR.
