Treatment of ICU patients with gram negative bacterial infection in lower respiratory tract with cefoperazone sodium and sulbactam sodium injection

Abstract:Objective To observe the safety and effect of cefoperazone sodium and sulbactam sodium injection on lower respiratory tract infection.Methods Twenty-seven patients in ICU with Gram negative bacterial infection in lower respiratory were injected 4.0 g of cefoperazone sodium and sulbactam sodium daily.Patients with liver and kidney function impairment were injected 2.0 g daily.They were injected equal daily dosage every 12 hours for 7 to 14 days.Results The rate of clinic adverse reaction was 3.7%(1/27)and total effective rate was 100.0%(26/26). Conclusion Treatment of ICU patients with gram negative bacterial infection in lower respiratory with cefoperazone sodium and sulbactam sodium injection is safe and effective; drug tolerance is good.
