Aortic dissection, intramural hematoma and penetrating aortic ulcer

Abstract：Aortic dissection,intramural hematoma and penetrating aortic ulcer are generally called acute aortic syndrome,which is an acute,serious and life-threatening cardiovascular disease with a high mortality and an increasing incidence.With the progress of every examinating method,expecially the imaging modality,the detectable rate in the early stage is improved.The understanding of this disease is deepening and we place greater importance on it,which wins more chance for patients to get treatment.The traditional treatment mainly includes expectant treatment and surgical approach,and the application of interventional therapy improves the prognosis of this disease.This article reviews the classification,diagnosis and treatment of aortic dissection,intramural hematoma and penetrating aortic ulcer.
