Abstract:Objective To study effect of moderate hypothernia treatment in patients with cerebral resuscitation after cardiac arrest survivors. Methods A total of 37 patients of successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation were randomly divided into the hypothermia therapy group( n = 19)and the routine therapy group( n = 18 ),Acute physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Ⅱ (APACHE Ⅱ )and Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS) of patients at 24 hours,48 hours,72 hours were compared between hypothermia therapy group and routine therapy group respectively. Results The recovery time of autonomous respiratory and consciousness in the bypothermua therapy group was shorter than those in routne therapy group. There was a significantly difference of APACHE Ⅱ score at 72 hour in two groups,P <0.05.There was a significantly difference in GCS score on 48 hour,in two groups,P < 0.05.Conclusion Moderate hypothermia can promote the restoration of cerebral function in the patients with successful cardiopulmonary(CPR).
