Effects of path interference on the community diabetes

Abstract:Objective To study the effect of community intervention among diabetes patients. Methods A total of 142 subjects were recruited into intervention group and contrast group with a random sampling method.Fasting blood glucose,2-hour post oral glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and routine urine test were observed. Results After the pathway intervention, in intervention group, average fasting blood glucose was (6.1 ± 1.3) mmol/L, 2-hour post oral glucose was (7.1 ± 2.0) mmol/L, glycosylated hemoglobin was (6.1 ± 0.9) % and the rate of acute complication was 1.4%. In the control group , the average fasting blood glucose was (7.5 ± 2.2)mmol/L, 2-hour post oral glucose was (9.3 ± 2. 0) mmol/L, glycosylated hemoglobin was (7.1 ± 1.0) % and the rate of acute complication was 7.04%. Differences between the 2 groups were significant (P < 0.05). The difference of patient compliance and relationship between patients and doctors also had statistics significance. Conclusion Pathway intervention on diabetes is an effective method to improve the prognosis of community patients with diabetes.
