Effect of diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsules on the expression of tumor necrosis factor-α in patients with non-alcoholic adipose hepatitis

Abstract：Objective To observe the change and the clinical significance of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in patients with non-alcoholic adipose hepatitis (NASH) treated with diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsules.Methods There 64 patients with NASH were divided into treatment and control groups.Each consisted of 32 patients.All patients were received a dietary control and improvement of lifes style.The patients in the treatment group were treated with diammonium glycyrrhizinate enteric-coated capsules.The patients in the control group were treated with vitaminE pills.Before treatment and after treatment 8 weeks,the changes of the serum levels of ALT,AST,GGT,TNF-α were compared.Results The serum levels of ALT,AST,GGT and TNF-α of the patients in the treatment group after treated were marked descend as compared with those before treated (P ＜ 0.01),and were marked descend as compared with those in the control group too(P ＜0.01 and P ＜0.05).After treatment,the serum level of ALT,AST,GGT,TNF-α of the patients in the control group were not marked descend as compared with those before treated (P ＞ 0.05).TNF-α was closely related to ALT,AST and GGT(P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions Treatment with diammonium glycyrrhizinate entetic-coated capsules can descend the serum levels of TNF-α,and improve liver function of the patients with NASH.
