Research of relation between HLA-A gene polymorphism and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the relationship between HLA-A gene polymorphism and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).Methods We detected HLA-A gene polymorphism of patients suffering from IPF by PCR-SSP grouping method,and compared with the 3736 healthy group data of northern population from Chinese (Shanghai) Bone Marrow Bank.Results A*2(50.00％),A*3(9.17％) gene frequency of IPFgroup are significantly higher than those of control group (P ＜ 0.05).A * 24 (9.17％) gene frequency drop obviously than that of control group (P ＜ 0.05).Others had no significant difference comparing to control group (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions HLA-A * 2,A * 3 are related to incidence of IPF and HLA-A * 24 has negative correlation with incidence of IPF.
