Stability of pazufloxacin mesilate injection mixed with ornidazole and sodium chloride injection

Abstract：Objective To study the stability of pazufloxacin mesilate injection and ornidazole and sodium chloride injection at ambient temperature [ ( 20 ± 1 ) ℃ ] and to supply evidence of clinical rational administration.Methods The changes of the contents of pazufloxacin and ornidazole were determined simultaneously by RP-HPLC-DAD. The changes of appearance and pH value were observed within 6 hours. Results No significant changes were found in the contents, appearance and pH value of the mixed solution within 6 hours. Conclusion Pazufloxacin mesilate injection can be mixed with ornidazole and sodium chloride injection at ambient temperature [ (20 ± 1 ) ℃ ]within 6 hours.
