Abstract:Objective To study the change and clinical significance of the levels of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods The levels of serum hs-CRP in 85 cases of patients with acute cerebral infarction and 25 cases of health adults were measured, and the patients with acute cerebral infarction were marked the clinical neurological impairment score. Results The levels of serum hs-CRP in acute cerebral infarction group[(13.04 ± 3.38)mg/L] were significantly higher than those in the control group [(2.57 ± 0.59)mg/L](P <0.01).The levels of serum hs-CRP were significantly difference in between the various subgroups of acute cerebral infarction(P <0.01),the levels of serum hs-CRP were positively related to the extent of neurological deficits(r = 0.627,P < 0.01). Conclusion The invasion of acute cerebral infarction is closely related with the level of serum hs-CRP,and more the level of serum hs-CRP is higher, more the clinical neurological impairment is severe, more the clinical prognosis is worse.
