Abstract:Objective To evaluate the Influence of general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia on perioperative immune function in patients with pulmonary cancer. Methods Totally 50 patients with pulmonary cancer need pulmonary lobectomy were assigned into two groups: general anesthesia group (GA), and general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia group (GEA). Peripheral blood T-lymphocyte subsets were measured before induction(T1), after anesthesia(T2) , at end of operation(T3), 1 d(T4) , 3 d(T5) after surgery. Results CD3 、CD4、CD8 and CD4/CD8 all decreased in two groups at T2 ,T3 and T4 than T1 (P <0.05 ). The index almost returned to the baseline values at T5 in GE group, but the GA group remained still low. The two groups had significant difference ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion The immune response is lower in GE group patients than that in GA group patients.
