Abstract:Objective To investigate the relation among platelet membrane glucoproteins ( PAC-1,CD62p) and fibrinogen( Fg) in patients with acute myocardial infarction( AMI). Methods Subjects were divided into 2 groups (36 patients with AMI, 32 cases of healthy subjects). Positive rates of PAC-1 and P-selectin were measured with tricolor flow cytometry. Fg levels were measured by nephelometry and turbidimetry in patients and normal controls. Results Compared with healthy group, Fg levels and the expressions of both PAC-1, CD62p were increased significantly in patients with coronary artery disease[ (79.53 ±11.23)% vs (47.02 ±5.98)% , (44.76 ± 6.85)% vs (29. 13 ±4.38)%, (4.72 ±0.98)g/Lvs (3.38 ±0.48)g/L, P<0.01]. There is a positive correlation between the PAC-1, CD62p and Fg in patients with coronary artery disease. Conclusions The platelet in patients with AMI is at the overactivated state. Fg is involved in coronary artery disease. There is a relation between platelet activation and Fg in patients with AMI.
