Comparative observation of traditional laparotomy and hysteromyomectomy by laparoscopy plus pituitrin

Abstract：Objective To compare the results of hysteromyomectomy by laparoscopy plus pituitrin and tra-ditional laparotomy. Methods Totally 60 cases of uterine intramural myomas were enrolled and equally divided into hysteromyomectomy plus pituitrin group and traditional laparotomy group. The patients in two groups were treated by laparoscopy with pituitrin and oxytocin. Blood pressure, bleeding volume, temperature and other complications were observed. Results Blood loss in both groups was 79.5 ± 23.8 ml and 94.2 ±30.9 ml, respectively (P < 0. 05 ).Operation duration was 86. 3 ±5.9 min and 65.5 ±6.3 min, respectively. The temperature decreased to normal lev-el 3 days after operation and no major complications occurred in two groups. Conclusions Compared with tradition-al laparotomy, hysteromyomectomy by laparoscopy plus pituitrin can decrease blood loss and shorten operation dura-tion.
