The surgical management of anterior communicating aneurysm associated with hypertension

Abstract：Objective To discuss the perioperative management and the surgical timing and the skills in microsurgery of anterior communicating aneurysm associated with hypertension.Methods Microsurgical treatment data of 21 cases of anterior communicating aneurysm associated with hypertension were analyzed.Results Good outcome was observed in 12 cases.Mild disability occured in 4 cases.Severe disability occured in 2 cases.Persistent vegetative state occured in 1 cases and 2 patients died.Conclusion The perioperative management and the sargical timing are the important factors for reducing surgical risk of anterior communicating aneurysm associated with hypertension.
