Abstract：Objective To evaluate the relation between prostatitis and prostatic hyperplasia.MethodsBased on clinical symptom,physical sigh,laboratory examination,follow-up survey cutative effectiveness,pathologic morphology and image,the patients were divided into two groups: <60 y group and ＞60 y group.Results In the group(<60 y),the prostatitis and hyperplasia were dominated by prostatitis with hyperplasia;another group(＞60),were hyperplasia with prostatitis.Conclution The diagnosis and treatment of the mixed disease are based mainly on the results of the clinical features and pathologic morphology.
