Effect of polyene phosphorus ester acid radical choline on the expression of interleukin-6 in patients with non-alcoholic adipose hepatitis
GUAN Xiao-hui
Abstract:Objective To observe the change and the clinical significance of IL-6 in patients with non-alcoholic adipose hepatitis(NASH) after being treated with polyene phosphorus ester acid radical choline. Methods Eighty-four patients with NASH were divided into treatment and control groups, with 42 patients in each group. All patients were received both dietary control and life style improvement. The patients in treatment group were treated with polyene phosphorus ester acid radical choline. The patients in the control group were treated with vitaminE pills. Before treatment and after treatment 12 weeks, the changes of serum levels of ALT, AST, GGT, IL-6 were compared. Results After treatment, the serum levels of ALT, AST,GGT, IL-6 of the patients in the treatment group were marked decreased as compared with those in the control group(t=4.784,3.334,2.712,3.655,P<0.01). IL-6 was closely related to ALT, AST and GGT(β=0.658,0.598,0.634,P<0.01). Conclusion Polyene phosphorus ester acid radical choline can decrease the serum levels of IL-6 and improve liver function in patients with NASH.
