Relation between H. pylori and reflux esophagitis'pathogeny

Abstract：Objective To observe the relation between H. pylori and reflux esophagitis' pathogeny. Methods Gastroscopy reports on reflux esophagitis in the last four years were reviewed, reflux esophagitis was gra-ded and HP positive rate in different groups was calculated. Results The Hp positive rate(28.7%) in RE group was lower than that in control group. Low-grade esophagitis was primary in patients infected by Hp or not, with a higher Hp positive rate(32.0%)than high-grade esophagitis group(17.2%)(P<0.05) Conclusion Hp is not the main pathogeny of reflux esophagitis, which is different from peptic ulcer disease.
