Ginkgo-Dipyridamolum injection for treatmeat of early diabetic nephropathy

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effect of Ginkgo-Dipyridamolum injection on early diabetic nephropathy. Methods Eighty patients with early diabetic nephropathy were divided into two groups: treatment group (n = 40) and control group (n=40). Besides routine therapy, the treatment group was also treated with Ginkgo-Dipyridamolum injection by intravenous infusion(2Oml daily). The course of treatment for both groups was 3 weeks. Urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER) ,serum and urinary β2-MG levels were measured before and after the treatment. Results After treatment, UAER and serum β2-MG levels were all decreased with a significant difference between two groups. UAER was (45±21)μg/min and(96±28)μg/min(P<0.05)in treatment group and control group respectively. Serum β2-MG was(2.6±1.3) mg/L and(3.7±1.2) mg/L in treatment group and control group respectively. (P<0.05). Conclusion Ginkgo-Dipyridamolum injection is effective for early diabetic nephropathy.
