Donepezfl and rehabilitation for stroke hemiplegia patients

Abstract：Objective To study the effect of early Donepezil and rehabilitation on motor function and eognize in stroke hemiplegia patients. Methods Forty stroke patients were enrolled into two groups stochastically, 18 collator received general training and 22 curets received rehabilitation training and taken Donepezil 5 mg/d. The FMA, Barthel and MMSE index were administered to evaluate curative effect during first visit to a doctor and following 1 and 2 months. Results After rehabilitation the motor function, daily life abilities and cognize were improved(P <0.01 ). The treatment group was superior to the control group, showing significant differences before and after treatment(P < 0. 01 ). Conclusion Early Donepezil and rehabilitation can improve the cognize, motor function and ADL of stroke hemiplegia patients.
