Clinical analysis of thyroid hormone changes in patients with chronic congestive heart failure

Abstract：Objective To observe the thyroid hormones changes in patients with chronic congestive heart failure. Methods Serum thyroid hormones levels were analyzed in 72 patients with chronic congestive heart failure and forty-eight healthy people by the chemiluminescence immune analytical technique. Results T4、FT4、TSH showed no difference between the two groups. Conclusion Patients with chronic congestive heart failure usually develop euthroid sick syndrome(ESS).
