Abstract:Objective To observe the relationship of changes of serium inflammatory factors in patients with post-operative nonunion. Methods Levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1), and interleukin-1 (IL-1β) in 32 cases in nonunion group, in 32 healthy people(control group), and in 36 cases with fracture primary healing after operation(first intention group) were detected. Results TNF-α, sVCAM-1, IL-1β in Group 1 were higher than those in control group and first intention group (P <0.05). Conclusion Damage of endothelial function, activation of macrophage in patients with post-operative nonunion of bone fracture cause cytokines release and hinder post-operative nonunion of bone fracture.
