Review of antirheumatic drugs in outpatient prescription in Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital

Abstract:Objective To analyze the usage of antirheumatic drugs in outpatient prescription in our hospital and provide references for rational use of antirheumatic drugs in the clinic. Methods The age and disease of the patients were analyzed, and the frequency of usage and the rationality of antirheumatic drugs in November 2007 were analyzed according to the DDDs order and DUI. Results Of the total prescription reviewed, combination of two,three and more drugs were up to 91.42%. The use of nabumetone, Glucosamine sulfate and sulfasalazine were most frequently used. The DUIs of most drugs were less than 1 except Diclofenac kalium and total glucosides of paeony.Conclusion Overall, the usage of the antirheumatic drugs is reasonable at Luoyang Orthopedic hospital.
