Abstract:Objective To investigate the features of coronary artery lesion in coronary heart disease(CHD)patients with pathoglycemia. Methods A total of 236 CHD patients diagnosed by coronary angiography(CAG)from January 2005 to January 2008 were analyzed retrospectively.Patients were divided into two groups:114 cases with pathoglycemia(pathoglycemia group)and 122 cases with normal glucose level(control group).Clinical characteristics and CAG.Results were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results There was no difference in age, sex, smoking, body mass index, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, incidence of myocardial infarction and locus of coronary artery lesion between two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of hypertension, the level of cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol and apolipoprotein B in the pathoglycemia group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).Compared with the control group, patients in the pathoglycemia group suffered more moderate and severe stenosis of coronary artery,muh-vessel lesions and diffuse vessel lesions(P<0.01).Conclusion CHD patients with pathoglycemia are exposed to many other risks of CHD.The coronary lesions are more severe with more mult-vessel lesions and diffuse vessel lesions.
