Coil embolization therapy with minimally invasive surgery in Hunt-Hess IV,V-Ruptured intracranial aneurysm
LIU Tao
Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy in treatment of ruptured intracranial aneurysm in HuntHess Grades IV.V.Methods In general anesthesia,1 patients were involved and treated with coil embolization, combining with craniotomy for small bone window.extemal ventricular drainage, decompressive craniectomy, lumbar Duncture drainage, etc. Results 1 patients received above 95%embolization,but embolization hadn't caused aneurysm rupture,current-carrying artery occlusion, etc.Fine and light residual seven cases(7/12),severely disabled and plants survive three cases(3/12),killed two cases(2/12). Conclusion Endovascular treatment has the following advantages:less trauma,no limitation with disease and attack time, improving patients with intracranial ruptured aneurysm in Hunt-Hess Grades IV,V survival rate and quality of life.
