MRI diagnosis of Takayasu's arteriasis

Abstract：Objective To assess MRI diagnosis of Takayasu's arteritis(TA).Methods Thirty-one patients with TA confirmed by clinical materials were performed spin echo(SE)sequence and dynamic contrast enhanced(DEC)MRA.Results SE T1WI displayed the distinct degree thickening,coarse and unclear of the affected vessel wall in 22 of 31 patients,with an accordance rate 70.9r%.117 segments of 31 patients showed arterial stenosis or occlusion.Conclusion Conventional MRI SE and 3D DEC MRA show changes of vessel wall and lumens of TA,helping to evaluate the extent and degree of TA as well.
